Can Spearmint Tea Extract be taken with birth control?

Yes

Is spearmint tea the same as peppermint tea?

No it is not. Peppermint tea has not been shown to be beneficial for androgens like spearmint tea

Is drinking spearmint tea the same as taking tablets?

Yes, it will have the same effect, it is just that many people don't like the taste to drink 2 cups per day so one small tablet instead is much more convenient.

Take 1 capsule per day, ideally in the mornings.

Finally got my period!

I ordered inisitol and the spearmint tea extract after being diagnosed with pcos at 18, I am now 30. I have gone years without ovulation.. Similarly to many other people's stories the doctors simply put me onto the contraception pill, something for many years I did not know was creating a withdrawal bleed and not ovulation. Last year, I finally decided to go back to the doctors for more answers, again met with no suggestions other than to go back onto the contraception pill. After 12 months and only 3 periods, I took it upon myself to research. Something all those years ago I felt was never spoken about online or supplemented. I therefore searched online for other options stumbling across healthy pcos on Instagram. Finally got my first period in 3 months! If only this was prescribed on the NHS!
